from my experience:

Selling- EBay gets higher $ all the time (people just get caught up in the bidding war thing)

Buying- AmiBay gets better deal majority of time

btw, I much prefer buying & selling on AmiBay as it's just straight forward with no hidden fees & so far I have never had a problem after many transactions

Just realize if the buyer sends the money as a gift you lose out on buyer/seller protection. Alot of people on amibay abuse this to avoid a paltry 3-4% fee which i think is fair. eventually they will ruin it for all of us and the gift option will disappear.

i agree with others anywhere BUT amibay. the most ridiculous rules i have ever seen and its no safer than anywhere else.

Ebay fees are terrible but i dont think its a hassle.

but why on earth would anyone send money as a gift on AmiBay (or any where else for that matter unless your sending money home to your mom ??? I have never had an issue with buying Amiga stuff on AmiBay and I'm so glad we amigans have an alternative to E(vil)Bay.
