I have a question.
Can an Amiga 1200 be connected to another game console like a Nintendo (or other), via specific cable/s, and be used that way? Thank you.
The older gaming consoles didn't have the hardware to do any kind of networking. It is true the SNES was the first console to have a modem type thing to play several on-line based games in japan, but this was all done through an add on that is more rare than hens teeth. So I would say no to the 16-bit generation.
The two generations of systems later they stated introducing BBA (Broad Band Adapters) in the Game Cube and the Dream Cast. I know there was a web browser for the Dream Cast but nothing like that for the GC.
I could keep going, but the answer is, kinda. It all depends on what you want to do with the systems hooked up. It also depends on how you want to hook them up.
Mostly you are looking at modding and only getting limited access across them like file sharing.
What were you thinking of doing if you hooked them up?
