Prometheus open source drivers
« on: November 21, 2009, 09:30:27 PM »
I was researching upgrades for my newly aquiered A4000T and was looking at the Prometheus PCI bus board.  It mentions that it is built on open source drivers so people can edit the given drivers as well as create their own.

My question is this.  HAS anyone created drivers for the Prometheus?  I know there are more cards available for the Mediator like TV cards and their own USB cards.  Has anyone looked into doing something like this for the Prometheus?

It would be really cool if some one did a driver for a generic USB card above all else...

NICE!  But I am confused.  It says that the USB driver has been canceled:( but still lists a download.  I also follow the link for Posiedon and there it is listed that you can only use it with certain E3B products.

So, is there any real driver for PCI USB boards then?

Or when Anaiis (Aminet) can use PCI devices.

That would really really cool once/if it happens.  I can see lots of people getting into PCI/USB if they could buy a cheap USB card...
