If you mod your x-box, they can detect it. You need to mod it in a way that it can be disabled...
HI! J-golden here! I'm hacking the snot out of my x-bow to do exactly what everyone is talking about, putting UAEX on it and I'll be calling it my CHEX-BOX (gunna cut up the "X" and rework it into a check mark
I'm also exploring Amithalon also as there are Linux specific ROM images for the X-Box mod chips....
Also, be aware that M$ live can also see the size of your hard drive. normals are 8-10 gig. I have a 60 Gig. in mine but I'm making an external chasis with a swapable drive bay so I can change out the 60 gig, and put in the 8 gig. original, hit the disable switch on the mod chip, and do the x-box live thing....
They haven't done anything abo. the hd size yet, but if you have a big hd, they you have a mod chip...... (can't use one w/o it)
