Running UAEX issues
« on: September 13, 2008, 01:09:43 AM »
I have the Boing Box up and running now with UAEX but it acts really odd with CD32 games.

There is no sound what so ever and the charaters or whatever are all garblled.  It also runs really really slow.  Am I missing a setting some where?

BTW, things like AmigaSYS work fine with very little flicker.

I'm running V.18.

PS- here is the final Boing Box pic...

I used xuae a lot and its barely able to run OCS games smooth, most games run ok, but for example pinball fantasies you will notice the slow CPU of the xbox, which is just a celleron @ 733 MHz.

Playing AGA games gives more CPU load and most of them will not work correctly. Also a 14 MHz CPU must be emulated. This is just to much.

So what what I'm hitting is the limitations of the Hardware and not a config. issue?  DANG!  Ok, thanks for the info...
