I have a PIV and that can handle audio input as well. I was wondering if I would get a Delfina Flipper I can still use one connection to my stereo for all output.
IIRC, The picasso card will only let you output one source at a time.
The A4000 CD-Audio in is not vol controled so you get what you get.
Several years ago I made a prototype device that let you mix classic A-Audio with CD-Audio and had a vol. control on the CD-Audio. Never posted the resistance setup but it is really easy to figure out if your at all technicly inclined. If I can find the scims I'll post them.
The prototype was sold with My A2000 Tower... :-o What was I thinking...
Oh, another, EXPENSIVE, option is to get a Mediator PCI card and then buy a Sound Blaster that does multipule inputs. I made a Headphone jack-to- CD-Rom Audio cable that goes from external Amiga audio to the sound card and the standard CD-Rom audio to the Sound card. The software from Elbox lets you control each input seperatly...

PS- Abo. the A4000 CD-Audio in "bending" thing... you can easily move the conectors in the audio cable head instead. on one side of the head you'll see flaps that you can lift up with a pin, pull out the specific wire conector and then put it in the correct hole. I don't know the pin out of the A4000 Mo Bo audio in so you'll have to dig that up somewhere else.
