Converting a PC Floppy cable to work with amiga floppy?

OK. I just got brand new floppy cable for PC and connected to my Amiga:: DFO:Unreadable under AmigaOS3.9.

It is interesting because I can boot from that floppy drive and it seem to work fine, only under AmigaOS is not working properly. I'm using 1.76 floppy drive.

Can someone please help me? I'm not sure how to fix it.

I opened this old topic... (2014) not to create another one.

I just got single floppy tape and it shows DF0:Unreadable, BUT I can boot from it (any bootable floppy)!? I really don't know what to do. It works... but when I start system from hard drive it doesn't.

I'm using pc cable in my a1200 tower as long as its a straight through cable no twist it should  be fine.

I have my old cable also without any modifications (as far as I can see) and works fine. New one doesn't.

I really don't understand why I can boot from floppy, but when I boot from hard drive it is "DF0: unreadable", one of the weirdest things ever... I looks like it is somehow system related, BUT if I boot from "Emergency Disc" with AmigaOS3.9... works GREAT!
