a1200 highest OS level 030 blizz accel

So now I have a a1200.  I got myself a blizzard 030 IV about 1 year previously and had been waiting for a good deal on a ami system.  


So given I have a Blizzard 030 as described above, whats the highest practical OS level (patched)

Should I aim for 3.9?  or a bit lower..  

I do plan on getting to get max 128m ram but that could take some time.. think I have a spare 12 or 32meg simm at home.,

It will be faster, but with an ugly workbench. I might be wrong, but I think darkage wants a patched OS probably with somesort of icon upgrade.

Well I never really ever been exposed to anything above WB 1.3.

I did try to setup a custom 3.1 WB in UAE from scratch.  Had to go through the process a few times to get it right and in the end I wondered off onto something else.. Think I was in China and the electronics markets overtook what I was doing before..

So now I have 2x A1200's.  I think its wise for me to setup 2 test beds one for 3.1 and one for 3.9  to see for myself..

I didnt expect this much discussion.  It seems to be a valid to have the experience myself.

Yes I would prefer a prettier OS due to all these years with a bland WB 1.3

Was curious if with my accelerator 030/50 if I was wasting my time with something as high as 3.9 but seems like its worth wild after all this discussion
