Personally, I like original hardware whenever it's an option -- even if it's much more work.  Think hard before you throw history away in the dumpster and opt for an imitation.  You may regret it later.

Until June of this year I'd never owned any other type of computer other than my Amigas and use them every day, so to me I can hardly call it retro or using it for nostalgia as it always has been my main computer... :)


You know, it's just a label based on the time since its release.  Don't let it bother you.  I'm sure eMacs are considered retro at this point too.   (It's not just Atari 2600 and TI99/4A that's considered retro in the year 2011.)

Franko:  Why did you break with your Amiga-only use?  Was it too difficult to surf the internet?  Something else?
