Using Newtek Flyer on A2000
« on: January 24, 2009, 04:55:10 PM »
In order to use a Newtek Flyer on an A2000, does anyone know what the minimum Toaster board needed is?  Also, what other hardware is necessary?  Is there special cabling needed or anything at all to watch out for?  Thanks, -Dave

Just the Flyer, the 4000 version of the Toaster (will work, but not able to apply AGA effects) and a 030 + FPU or better.

Prefer also Workbench 3.1 or better.

Thanks, but is OS2.1 going to be a problem?  Any thoughts?

The Flyer board connects to the toaster4000 with a flat cable.
Newtek only supported the toaster/flyer up to 3.1.

Thanks for the info, but I'm a little unclear.  Are you saying that there is some custom cable that I'll need?  Also, the toaster/flyer is supported UP to 3.1, meaning 2.1 is OK?
