Is this just a date to get together to set another date, or something much more significant?  Verdict coming before the decade is over??

OK, probably true.  So I guess the consensus is that there is no hope for an officially sanctioned next generation Amiga?  Understandable given that it hasn't happened yet in this decade.

Well wouldn't it be nice if someone competent with genuine interest actually gets a hold of the Amiga trademark at some point?  It has only been -- Ummm -- how long now?  I won't hold my breath for the sleek new Amiga 5000.
