There is also the resistor hack for improved picture quality.

will it be the same revision as last time, or is there anything to the rumours that it´s a new revision with new features, not only mechanically but also feature wise?

Is this the hack that prevents the "flicker" at the top of the screen in hi-res modes that occurs for 5 - 10 minutes after booting (or until the machine is warm?)

Link?

TC, TheCorifot at AmiBay can tell you more about it.

On the A1200 he says:

Quote
You need to short out E127R which is on the underside of the A1200 Mobo in order to clean up the CLK signal.

Here

And then the A4000 version hack:

Quote
It's a 1K resistor between +5V and the CCK line which raises the peak to peak amplitude of the clock signal to over 4 Volts, Without it the signal swing is 3.4V
