Looking over my finances after an expensive vaccation, and lots of shopping @ebay and amibay this summer.

But what's the difference between the SAC and SMF airports?

Also, how much is it to stay at the hotel? hotels.com says rates are from $80 per night.

Also, for us europeans coming over. What's the best way to go to SF and where to stay there. It's after all a 22h+ plane trip, so it would be nice to see a little more, once "over there".

thanks for the offer of a ride from SFO to Amiwest. I will consider it. I'll talk with my better half and see what comes of it

EDIT: PS, thanks for the SFO heads up. The air fare got very much cheaper. From about 8000NOK to 5500NOK. That's about £250GBP difference (£1 = 10NOK).
