Also make sure the tooltype PICASSO=TRUE is set. This makes less assumptions about the gfx. It should probably be called RTG instead of PICASSO.

I done what mattheys suggestion and done RTG=TRUE and tried just RTG and still get the grim reaper (all i get is a wordworth screen) when I have tried Picasso and rtg

There is no tooltype called RTG. I was just saying that the name RTG would have been clearer than PICASSO. You did do what was suggested which was to change the commented (PICASSO=TRUE) to PICASSO=TRUE. I would leave it like that as you are less likely to have problems but it did NOT fix your problem.
