I dunno, it's just cool to have old synth modules emulated or recreated. The ONLY reason to own a DS is for the Korg DS-10

Really?  I thought the best reason to have a DS was to play the games on it.  Both GBA and DS games.  Plenty of great games you know!  Better then the regular game boy that some people whined about having too blurry a screen to actually play.

especially since the DS-10 synth is neat for about 5 minutes and then you realize everything it's doing was already done on PC and is easier to use and work into your music there.  I don't know about you, but poking at the screen with a stylus and having limited screen real estate really becomes cumbersome after a few minutes.

anyway, yea, these portable device synth emulation programs are pretty neat to fiddle with, but to me they are not very practical or versatile.

maybe if someone makes a midi interface for the DS, or the ipad.   That would make it pretty interesting.
I am a negative, rude, prick.
