then I can get sponsors to put their commercial ads on my site...and use the money off ads to pay for my connection/website. Then I can afford the website costs. What do you think?
I wouldn't count on ads providing the funds you may need. Text ads that don't bounce around the place I can deal with. Flash ads, Intellitext ads and the various other irritations are blocked here. The popularity of ad blockers and availability of extended "hosts" files shows how popular advertising is. I've never clicked on an ad and never will.
