Any one else having constant Database error appearing?
Been like it for 2 days now.

There's a couple of threads on EAB about it saying basically AI bots are logging on exponentially as registered users do, as some sort of data harvest for AI learning. I checked once and 26 members were logged on and 7360 guest users .... then 14000 or more guest users came on. Don't know what they will do about that.

Easy, do what we did here and block the ip's of certain known bots.
I remember the Admin posting a while back, saying hs is not interested in EAB any more. Shame as things take very long to get done.
Fedup of seeing that snowman. Pointless posting about it as nothing will get done til June. Silly really, as on my own sites, I added code to make it auto change for Christmas.

Not the intention. If I had not stepped in and basically hijacked server. It would have been down even longer (may never have come back).
I did what I could, it wasnt easy fixing the mess of a database, left by previous owners. Thankfully, I was able to sort it and preserve everything.
I also have another working backup (test with basic database) of Amiga.org on my own server. So should worst happen, we have that, as I do regular database backups. Something good to come out of it all.

These are all things that were discussed on the IRC channel. RCK also said he's frustrated with the feminist laws of France which harmed him, with the immigrants in who can no longer go out safe at night, etc
also the website was attacked by russian hackers, all of that  exhausted his patience.
but it seems the main reason is that there's no money to pay the debts of the website and yet no EAB member offered a viable solution

again is not a bots problem,  the website is down for non-payment
as I said above RCK is suffering a divorce he'll be evicted from the house next week.
some EAB members offered to house him, but he declined and plans to travel to India and convert to Buddhism

well guys if you don't believ what I posted you can join the IRC channel and ask members what happened
but fact is  that yesterday RCK took a flight to Bombay with tears in his eyes and he didn't say whether he would return or not
The problem is that most of EAB's donors are just Amiga fans which are constantly purchasing unnecessary Amiga hardware,then most of them are divorced/bankrupt so the site was accumulating debt and so on here's the result.
