My favourite social networking website is Comic Space ( http://www.comicspace.com ). It's a place for people who are interested in reading, writing, drawing and publishing comic books and online comic strips. It works very well in IBrowse, too! :)

Maybe because OWB doesn't run on classic Amigas very well at all. Everyone knows even with a 060, 256MB RAM and a RTG card it's still too slow to use. IBrowse and AWeb are still the best choice for classic users without RTG, Netsurf is becoming the choice for RTG classic users, but OWB is still best used on Aros, MorphOS and AmigaOS4. Oh, and UAE of course, but then Netsurf is a better choice for running in UAE anyway.

Hi Dave, I'm very envious of that A1200 system you're building up! If you plan on trying OWB or Netsurf on it, you will need a graphics card too, neither of them work with AGA.

As for running those browsers through emulation, I've not tried it yet to be honest. I don't use Windows at all, so no WinUAE here. I do run Aros natively on two PCs though, and OWB is great for using on every website I go to. It can't play inline flash videos, but it's not hard to open them with MPlayer instead.

I'd say Netsurf would be the better choice for running through an Amiga emulator though, and OWB for Aros.

Drummerboy, there are a few settings in IBrowse for reducing the alerts, just play around with the preferences a bit.

Apart from its lack of CSS and a few other modern features, IBrowse is an excellent browser and a great Amiga program with plenty of configurability.
