I agree! More people need to know about these more recent Amiga games and online games. I get so lonely sitting there on Dynamite all day and night waiting for someone to join the server and blow me up.

We had six people online, battling just earlier! I think Dynamite is becoming a little more popular again now that people are getting their Amigas online, or using AmigaSYS through UAE which comes with Dynamite installed.

I took a screenshot between battles, you can see all six people online at the time (it shows Wayne is taking time off at the moment). I was running this game on my A1200 030/28 with 32MB RAM, and as you can see I had a whole load of other programs running at the time, with a bunch of tabs open in IBrowse too, and still not running out of memory. :)

Yeah, I think we'd have an easier time finding players if we had organized times each week where we all try to log in and play for a while. Luckily this time I noticed some others on IRC mention the game, so I told my friend and we both went online as well.

But I guess if you want to try and find excuses not to play it or why it's a bad idea, go ahead. The rest of us will keep having fun playing the game. We don't care that it's not a new game anymore, it never stopped working and never stopped being loads of fun, even when it's just a couple of bots to play against, at least it's a game I can play on my Workbench while I'm online on my A1200.

I really don't see the point you're trying to make here. If you think something needs promotion more often, actively promote it! If it drops out of the public eye and you think it needs more attention, bump the thread! What's there to complain about?
