WTB: some way to add RAM to 4000
« on: January 01, 2009, 12:12:28 AM »
I've got an A4000 I want to build out into a good system. I've got most of what I need other than network and a decent amount  of memory. I know where to get a network card, but I need a way to expand the RAM. I'll consider any of:

* Zorro III SCSI card with SIMM sockets
* a new CPU card with SIMM sockets (I've got a 3640 now)
* Zorro III RAM card

I'd like something that can handle at least 64MB, but I've got a big bag of old 72 and 30 pin SIMMs so I'll put on as much as I can.

If you've got anything that fits the bill, let me know what it is and what you want for it.

Yeah I've heard of lots of the options... just not where to get any of them, other than wait for one to show up on ebay. Been checking periodically but havent had much luck.
