I have an Escom A4000T with a CybervisionPPC and PicassoIV card installed under CyberGFX. I have just bought a Sony http://www.sony.com.au/catalog/product.jsp?categoryId=22009 multi-function monitor. It has a HD-15 input aswell as a DVI input. Also there is an S-Video and 2x RCA Video in inputs. The monitor handles a game console input, DVD, TV etc.

I have the HD15 connection running off my CybervisionPPC card for normal workbench screens and some games. This monitor supports input sensing, so I want to run the standard PAL screens on this monitor as well. Can any of you please tell me which option would work?

[a] Running the PicassoIV card to the DVI input via an adaptor from VGA to DVI - Will this work?
Adding an av module to the PicassoIV to run the S-Video connection to the S-Video connection on the rear of the monitor (Video2)
[c] Somehow running the 23pin video output from the A4000T to a video RCA input on the rear of the monitor (Video1)
[d] Can I emulate the yellow RCA video out like on the A1200 via the A4000T to connect to the video-1 input on the rear of the monitor?

If someone could please offer any advice here, I would much appreciate it... I would love to solve the problem of having the CybervisionPPC screens and PAL screens displayed on the one monitor. And perhaps being able to take the PicassoIV graphics card out of my A4000T since I won't need the scandoubler function with this monitor.

either which way, a VGA to DVI will work fine for the CVPPC and most likely the P-IV.  I've used them on many many diff. setups without a problem OR resolution loss.

I wasn't sure whether or not you could run a vga output into a dvi input on the monitor, i'll check out the web for some adaptors. What adaptor have you used in the past?
