Nice interview... We havn't heard much news about AmigaDE/Anywhere lately so this update was nice.

The screenshots where OK but nothing special. If the GUI is skinnable thats great.

This part didn't sound to good though...

""Don't wait for the official Amiga APIs to be released. What is there already in intent/elate (I can never remember what name refers to what)
is quite sufficient to make any application you like, and it's not going to disappear. Sure, it may take a bit more work than you're used to. So did writing an app on Amigas before Workbench 2. Don't sit
around hoping that Amiga will do all the hard work for you. We're busy enough already playing table soccer.""

As far as I know lots of programmers have complained about the lack of sound and graphics API's. Sounds like they are quite far from a finished/usable state??

Anyway, people at Amiga... keep up the good work!

Hi Housey
Sorry, guess I didn't make myself clear.

It's nice that he encourages coders to code for Amiga-Anywhere (as I think it's officially called now?).

What I thought didn't sound that good was that he made it look like the new Api's where far away from public release.

According to many developers the SDK is lacking a lot of stuff. It's possible to get some of it after signing Nda/Sda's.. but the SDK really need that _promised_ update so more people would be interested.
