If it is of any use identity wise, here in the UK (PAL) my 520 has the following info on the sticker on the back.

Model 520

Serial No. MT2 1019094
         ..
Funkentstort nach    (Maybe a fellow user can translate)
DBP Vfg 1046/1984

Made in Taiwan

P/N 354028-02    40A069-002
