This browser needs over 100MB of RAM just for simple pages! I've been using Opera on Windows for several hours, and it's only used 50MB.

Maybe on an A1200 with 256MB, but not on an A4000.

The archive format is 7Zip, I think there is a 7Zip XAD module.
