green screen could be chip-mem problem but then it should show up every time you boot... my best guess is that one of the custom chips might not be too happy... as to which one... I wish I could tell you (all guesses here but maybe I spark an idea with you or someone else to help you get this puppy up and running again)

Maybe you get something out of hearing this:
I accidentally put my ports module cables in 180° flipped. This has resulted in a dead Paula chip. The result: The computer doesn't boot but is stuck at the light grey start-up screen. Nothing I do will change that (until I get my replacement Paula chip and a socket for it soon :-)).
That's why I guess one of your custom IC's is dead....
If you are willing to spend about $300 Ed Jeffries in Kansas can repair it for you.
