anyone running WinAE etc. in Parallels on Mac?

My configurations are as follows - Mac Pro running Parallels and VMWare (XP).  I quickly found out that mouse control is out of control running WinUAE on Windows under Parallels on the Mac.   I've tried to fiddle with all sorts of mouse settings in the OS's - no love.  ANyone donig this successfully?

On my MacBook Pro - I have BootCamp and when I'm running natively XP - mouse is fine in WinUAE.

Current ROM/Emulation issues:

Trying to run the Garrison ROM and it keeps bombing out - boots up with a "Sector error" message - sometimes if I wait goes past this.   Then after intro screen - if I get that far - screen goes black and dies.

Gods ROM and other games, Faery Tale etc. - I don't know how to configure it to use the keyboard.  I've tried setting keyboard options in WinUAE but nothing ever works.  Mouse usually works, but control is useless and I'd much rather use keyboard (I don't yet have a joystick).

It sounds like "someone here a while ago" (whomever that may be) - has too much time on their hands then.

Yes, I know technically they are not ROM's - I've been in IT engineering for 15 or so years now, so I fully understand the difference.   But since I am not a "gamer" per say, I was just using the "street lingo" for these "images" in trying to be "hip" and establish "street cred" with the "in crowd" since they are often posted on the  internet as "ROMS", I just went with the seeminly accepted terminology.

Going forward and the hair splitting aside - the above are the issues I'm running into.   Any help would be appreciated.
