X-Surf is great, so is Ariadne/Ariadne 2 if you can find one. (Those cards also have mhi drivers, a real plus IMHO.) DENEB is another option, expensive but you'd also have a very nice USB solution.

You're lucky you can just plug your cable into the router, mine is as far away from the Amiga as is possible. I'm looking into getting an X-Surf and either ethernet mains plugs or a wireless ethernet bridge. Anyone setup a wireless bridge before? I have no idea what's involved.

Something like a WAP54g, configured in wireless client mode should work OK. I did it with a WAP11 via a switch to my A2000/Ariadne2, the only minor problems I had were with the POS WAP11. I definitely prefer some sort of wired connection, though.
