Use
this program, select PAL and NTSC low-res (game resolution) modes, and adjust your monitor's clock and phase settings for best picture. Clock can usually be fine-tuned to eliminate practically all vertical distortion (use one of the solid test colors like white), although the image likely won't fill the entire display area. Then play with the phase setting until you get the clearest picture with no wavy/horizontal lines running up the screen.
I would configure the Indivision for 50Hz PAL/NTSC modes if your LCD can display it, as it will provide much smoother scrolling.
