Does anyone know off the top of their head what type of screws hold the case cover to the Amiga 2000 case chassis? I mean, length, thread count expecially, size #, that sort of thing?
I don't think any of the cases I have carry the original or correct sizes. I'd like to purchase some replacements.
I can always see if I can measure the closest one but thought someone might know this here.
Case screws (also used for the drive tray):
M4 7 x 6 phillips pan-head sem screw
Motherboard screws:
M3 5 x 6 phillips pan-head
The screws for the slot covers are a very odd size (not metric: 6-40 x 3/16"). I was not able to find exact originals (which are sem screws), but you can find them without the washer from an amazon seller
here. They're even mil-spec.
How many case screws do you need? I have a bag full of new ones and would be happy to send you some.
