Is the CLK jumper near the oscillator set to 040? (It should be with an overclocked 060.)

This is probably why it won't boot. Set to 040 and try again. (Or leave at 060 and go back to a 50MHz crystal.)

The 1240/60 can be a little fussy with certain motherboard revisions, but should be rock solid otherwise. (Mine is great... I just don't understand all the Apollo hating.;-)) Adding power to the floppy connector does help.

@Palm

Did you try different RAM, or disabling the RAM (jumper) and see if it boots?
