Hi bon,
Generally I don't believe the 030's need fans,
but I could see heat possibly being an issue in
a desktop case. Perhaps try it with the
'trapdoor' cover off, and rasie the machine up
a bit. It could also be that your PSU may be
too weak (try out an 'A500' one, they're
rated a bit higher).
Memory might be an issue if your not using
FPM SIMM's, but I'm not sure if the '030
Blizzards require them. Maybe try it with no
memory at all and see if it works.
