Hi Vincent,

As to the DCE scanmagic, the socket with the chips
does go on top of Lisa. The second socket goes
on top of the Alice chip. The ends of the cable
connecting the two boards should face each other
(the main cable to the 15 pin (from Lisa) will point straight toward the back of the machine).

If your display turns out funny, it's likely that
one of the sockets isn't seated all of the way;
or that the socket for Alice isn't lined up
correctly (I did both wrong at first ;)).

      ##### - Connecter for VGA

      Lisa

      ##### - Connecter to ALICE socket

      Gayle

      ##### - Connector from LISA socket

      Alice

(basically, the glue blobs should face each other)

Thanks, Vincent! I love cherries! :-D

And good luck with that nice tower, that's probably my next step as well...as soon as
I find a better job. :)

Cheers, I might need it for the electric stuff later on.

:-) I meant that I need a better job before I  can even afford a tower for my 1200. Room for a graphics card would really help me...everything is still so expensive for these things.  :-( Currently I have my Blizzard (w/fan), scandoubler and IDE splitter all packed into the desktop case.

Hmmm...I'm not sure if they would be the
same (I don't see why they wouldn't),
but on the connector from my motherboard
to the floppy, the brown wire is on the far
left, while the red is on the far right.
