Cool bike! The GS was an excellent machine. I don't have the resources now, but one of these days I would
love to pick up and possibly restore an old GS or CB.

Now I'm not one to pressure ya or anything, :-) but have you checked out the Suzuki Bandit? They're
kind of the modern iteration of those old 70's and early 80's "standards". (I recently picked up a
naked Bandit and LOVE it.) The Kawi ZRX is another cool standard, perhaps a bit more "retro".
Since they're not the latest and greatest "tank-humpers", excellent used deals are everywhere.

Anyhow, just something to keep in mind in case ya find yourself with both cash and the itch at the same
time. And...if you're serious about not biking...stay away from the bike forums...they WILL corrupt your mind
badly...;-)

edit--Just read about your flight, and congratulations - that's really cool, must've been quite an experience. :pint:

The only thing I've regretted selling was my old comic book collection...but I used the money to
purchase my first Amiga, an A500. I still have the A500, along with my old C64, C128 and loads of
old drives/floppies/etc. I'm also not really one hang on to old computers, but I figure for the hassle
of getting $20 on ebay...I might as well keep them (for now). Parting out and selling my 1200 though,
and don't really feel sad about it...it's been sitting in my closet for ages now, and WinUAE pretty much
does everything it did, so I figure "what's the point?"
