How much for this stuff??
« on: July 22, 2004, 01:58:15 AM »
Hi,

I'm probably ebaying my 1200 and accessories, and was wondering what y'all might think is a good asking/reserve price for the following (sold separate):

Blizzard 1260-66 MHz, 64 MB ram

DCE internal scandoubler

IDE - Fix w/Express adapter (best A1200 IDE splitter IMO)

A-Tech A1200, would probably throw in a 2 gig drive and GVP 8 MB/FPU expansion card

These things (aside from the 1200 itself) seem to be somewhat rare and nearly unavailable these days?  I can't find anything similar to compare prices with...a few years ago this stuff was all over ebay. Everything is mint with original docs/disks/etc/yada yada...

Might also consider selling the complete system with 15 GB Travelstar, OS CDs, books, ethernet adapter and other accessories?...just figured piecing it out on ebay might fetch a little more lucre...:-P

Also if interested you can read the details about my Pegasos for sale, in this Morphzone thread...

Thanks for any input,

Damion

I appreciate the comments guys, thanks :pint:

My last hurdle now is getting some good pics...everything is basically like new, but the shots I took from a disposible just look terrible...so I suppose I'll have to borrow a real camera from someone...:)

US.

Wouldn't be a bad idea, things like Blizzard 1260s are not as common
here, and people (used to) pay a premium. When I was last paying
attention, about a year ago, they never sold for under 300 USD (about
245 EUR)...and that was for 50 MHz versions with no RAM. The cost of a
brand new one including shipping from Germany was often less than what
people were paying over here on ebay.
