thanks for saying it like it is. i didnt dare to say it my self because i was attacked earlier this month, by these morphos trolls that hang around here at a.org.

Umm isn't basicly everyone saying that the Efika version is currently unusable? Just wondering how someone here would have attacked you...

As it currently stands, there is no reason to get MOS now unless you have either PEG I or PEG II.

I have Efika waiting in my self for a possible memory upgrade and after that it will be waiting for MOS update :)

Why don't you wait for the update that way you don't have to pay for somthing that you can't use. Oh and to test out MOS you don't actually have to register it. It will just slow down after 30 mins or something like that.

Well for the short period of time that I used MOS 2 on my PEG II before I sold it. I'd say it was well worth it, but then again no "Amiga" type system can fully replace your current system. Too much is missing, Java and Flash support for browser to be exact and ofcourse Open Office would be a nice addition, but no Java = no OF etc.

I'm looking to build Efika as a modern retro Amiga experience once the promised update arrives. So that classic games would launch in emulator and everything else would be native. Atleast it will be that for me as long as Mac Mini port gets released. But if you actually get the hardware to run MOS and you don't like it, I don't think you have a hard time selling the hardware further. I have actually always made a little cash back on my "Amiga" investments :)
