Hi,
I'm new here (getting back to the roots). Anyways I just got hold of Blizzard PPC/040 and I'd like to upgrade it with 68060, but I haven't found any good tutorials. The one that I found is in French and babelfish didn't do a good job with that article (http://obligement.free.fr/articles/blizzard040060.php).

SO if anyone here has a better article for the modifications needed I'd be very delighted if one would share the information :)

Thank you for you offer I just contacted PG, so if he doesn't like to share the information with me then I'll ask for your translation.

Thanks for the link. My friend will translate it for me and once I'm done with my modifications I will post my own English and Finnish version.

This might take awhile so don't expect to see the tutorials tomorrow maybe in a month or two :)

WoW thnx a lot for the pic. So basicly all I need to do is to solder the voltage selector to 3.3V and solder the 68k resistor to 060 position. Oh and ofcourse change the 25Mhz crystal to 50Mhz :)

How about firmware updating?

Great news, I don't have my card yet (it is in the mail). So I assumed it is 25Mhz :) But great news indeed.

Oh yea this article http://obligement.free.fr/articles/blizzard040060.php

Sais in the end that you have to use a standard 68060 not the LC or EC models? Is that true, because I could easily optain an LC.

Edit: Does anyone know the difference between XC68060RC50 and XC68060RC50A?
