Feeble Files
« on: October 14, 2003, 02:57:30 PM »
Does anyone know how to redirect the sound in the feeble files to a PCI card? When I play the game I can here the sound very faintly from the case speaker but not my SB card. PSA outputs to it fine and I tried changing system settings back to Pegasos 16 bit stereo but normal sound was still being output via the SB, while Feeble Files
still only outputs to the case speaker. (I think.)

Machine is G3 Pegasos 600mhz.

Why are you using a SB-Live on a Peggy? Just curious?

As I am using it for recording audio, I was under the impression that using a separate souncard would lesson the cpu load. Don't know whether this is true or not but I do seem to have all but eliminated the pops and clicks I was getting via on-board sound, whenever I tried to play back a complex mix.

How would I do that?

I thought that by selecting emu10kx on Music unit and Units 0 - 3, on
board sound would be automatically disabled.
