SoundStudio is much more stable, rock-solid I would say. Unfortunately it doesn't support AHI. But it can render music to HD..now they are killing Soundstudio if noone will begin to support it. 
As far as I am concerned, the demise of OSS is the saddest single event in the history of Amiga software. :-(
