Theoretically, yes but, practically, sod that! :lol:

I see. Well, I definitely won't be able to get down to Manchester until beginning of July, and I was kinda hoping to have it working by then. ;-)

This Sunday I'm at the football - title decider
Next weekend is the Scottish Cup Final
The three weekends after that I'll be in Canada.

Once that's all over with, I'd still be interested in coming down though.

Indeed. I've spoken to him via e-mail and the Mrs and I hope to get through there for a couple of days, probably by train from Toronto, as we'll be staying in Oakville. (He tells me it's five hours.)

So I'll be taking it back tomorrow and getting my cash back, then I shall carry out a tour of the every local PC store until I hopefully find a DIMM that is on the "working" list.

I got one - a 128MB TwinMOS.
I'll hopefully get to try it out tonight, although I'm supposed to be helping my mate with a flitting.

I finally bit the bullet - I've just ordered a 256MB one from KDH.
Price including delivery, just over 100 euros - OUCH!  :-x
That's about three times as much as the local stores sell it for. :-(

Still, if that's what it takes.........
