Well, AROS already can and does run on another OS, albeit not virtual. It would make sense to port AROS to Elate/AmigaDE, since it would let you run AmigaOS programs on any HW supported by Elate/AmigaDE, but there are technical issues that make the whole thing challenging, to say the least.
