The Amiga 500, 600 and 1200 all used the same powersupply.
I don't think you can use one from a Commodore 128.
Pins 3 and 5 on the 128 Powersupply put out 9V AC (according to
http://www.technick.net/public/code/cp_dpage.php?aiocp_dp=pinconmis_c128_power
).
Pin 3 on the Amiga PS is +12V and pin 5 is -12V (according to
http://www.ntua.gr/electronics/hwb/connector/power/amiga500power.html
). Definately don't recommend it.
You should just keep a look out for either a 500, 600 or 1200 powersupply for sale or pick up a 500 with powersupply. If I'm not mistaken, many 500 powersupplies were better than the ones shipped with the later machines anyway.
