It seems to me like your datatypes system is somehow broken.

Try replacing your LIBS:datatypes.library with the one from your original workbench floppy disk sets and reboot. And then try to perform the print you originally intended.

Try replacing the text dataypes you have (both in Classes/ and Datatypes/) with the ones from the original WB 3.1 and then reboot and try printing again.

Not really, I believe it was a weird-bad workbench installation issue that for some reason, you had.
