Do you have a NAS? I hardly ever use Amiga Explorer these days because most NAS support NFS shares and the tool ch_nfsmount allows you to mount these with Genesis on your Amiga. Failing NFS you can try SMBFS but this is a bit touch and go sometimes it seems.
