Has anyone assembled a v1.1 board yet? I want one but only after they are confirmed working.

I was expecting at least one person would post soon - Nusim has sold at least 7 boards and Xenepp has sold a few as well.

Think you missed the point.  A minimig is for what exactly, just to play a few simple games!  Granted it's nice and small!  I wouldn't want a to buy a new A500 nor would I buy a new one for $240AU or 100 quid no matter how small it was!

My point is a $5 Amiga 500 will do the same thing and if it breaks well I'll spend another $5.  It's going to take a few decades before the minimig pays for itself!

Agree with you there and yes it's sad that Xenepp has been duped by some end users but I suspect that the problem is bare boards are just useless to the majority of people as are expensive assembled boards.

I suppose it just goes to show there isn't a market out there for any new Amiga's!

Agreed - bare boards are useless to most of us. But a complete Minimig is worth £100 easy!

*Use of standard ps2 keyboard & mouse rather than expensive amiga parts.
*Loading games from adf (on the mmc) rather than unreliable floppies - most have mine have degraded from 1992!
*Make my own case for it - or a different one each season!
*Upgrade the base code when hard file support is implemented.
*Boot AROS on it.

Plus a few more that i can't think of right now. Plus its the first new Classic Amiga compatible hardware for years - and its open source!
