Absolutely f*&^%g brilliant!
Ever since I saw an EEE PC in Brighton about a month ago I have been wanting one. Which is silly really. It was the Linux based one, and although it was staggeringly cute and incredibly cool, it was a little sluggish and I knew that even though I loved it, I would have no use for it at all... It reminded me of when the A600 came out - I had an A2000 that was very powerful at the time (1991 or so - 3 MB RAM, 40 MB HD) and the A600 came out and I desperately wanted one because it was so damn cute. But I knew that because I had such a powerful A2000 an A600 was useless for me. But I bought it because I couldn't resist its cuteness and sure enough, I never ued it.
The EEE PC seems like a modern day A600 - incredibly cute but totally useless when you have a laptop, desktop, Amiga, console etc.
But installing UAE and Amikit on it? Well, doesn't that just make it into the Amiga laptop we have all been waiting for all these years? I think that I might just have a reason to go and buy one now! What a great idea!
To the original poster - is this UAE running on the Windows or Linux version of EEE PC?
