A3000 repair, part 2
« on: December 05, 2007, 04:02:31 AM »
Thanks to amiga92570, I have managed to get video, only to discover a blue screen.  I have read that this means an error in the custom chips, but is there any way to know which one?

Problem was that I did not have a HD connected during testing all the time.  I have lost video again, but believe the bad chip may have something to do with it.

The battery was removed awhile ago, but not before it caused damage to the motherboard.  There does not appear to be any bad traces, but not sure what is on the middle layers of the board.

Will track down a chip puller and try reseating.
