Helping out magazines?
« on: April 13, 2003, 04:16:43 AM »

Is there a possibility that someone out there at all care or want to support Amitopia?

I would like an discussion on this, since there is so many here and there wich dosent have time wich hangs on irc or msn 24h a day and more and say,... "I dont have time".

Amitopia would love to continue, but because of lack support, I cannot get it out.

a frustrated editor :), Amitopia

oki.. Well I've done that. I've been sending out Amitopia to many, many non-payers. Maybe I was to kind, or?

the name is pretty unusual, it dosent really name Amiga, but as Amitopia. It is a difference here and Amitopia is not just about news, tests, reviews and such things. Its about everything. About xCommodore people, historic articles, articles wich describes for people how to do things, articles that really matter for the Amiga user. But! Not just for an Amiga user, but also for everyone else.

We also want to concentrate on Retro things, like bringing those good old games for Amiga back in to the light. We also talk with xAmiga companies, like Team17, Ocean, Psygnosis or whatever else. We write about those funny and nice expansions for Amiga 500, like a A500 ethernet card for example. It plugs into A500s left side Zorro alike slot +++

I wish more support! All articles is welcome. Either it is in Swedish, Danish, English or in Norwegian. The articles will be on-line 4 weeks after an Amitopia Issue release++. Pluss we have great deals with Amiga companies. Giving us things for testing and things like t-shirts and other things to be sent with the magazine to everyone of our readers.

Amitopia would actually have Explosive Brothers with its next Issue as a bonus for everyone wich reads Amitopia and such things. We want to be different and we want to reach those wich love Amiga. Either have it or dont because of reasons.

I hope this helps. Please help, I really want this Amiga magazine to boost off again. Do you?

Michal, editor of Amitopia

Amitopia is in paper yes.. its shrinked from 24 pages fully Amiga magazine, to a small 4 pages Amiga magazine.

I am so sorry for this, but this is the only way to maybe catch some new staff writers. If not, Amitopia will stay this until something happends and people wants to help out.

For every new writer, I open 4 new pages in the magazine...

The magazine is in A4 format. And yes... we will have MorphOS coverage, but we need MOS people then in our staff. Without that, there will not be anything. So its all up to you!...
