Probably just doesn't know the Amiga market well. And he lives in the tech center of the universe where he's practicly drowning in surplus technology. The A2000 is probably just a blip in his conciousness. It looks like he has a lot of stuff he wants to get rid of and a vague idea that the A2000 is worth more than the PCs. He'll problably accept a much lower offer--especially after a couple of weeks have gone by.

I'd like to go garage saling in San Jose sometime.I spent a couple of months in the Bay Area last year and just about paid for the whole trip by buying Mac stuff at garage sales and thrift stores and from Craigslist and reselling it on Ebay. And I missed out on an A2000 for $20 while I was there just because traffic delayed me 10 minutes too long.
A2500 owned since 1993 with A2630/DKB 2632, DKB Megachip, GVP EGS Spectrum, A2320 and GVP HC+8 on the inside and a DCTV on the outside. A4000D with CSPPC, Cybervision 64 and a Flicker Magic flicker fixer. A4000T Toaster Flyer & CSMKII. All systems completly retro and classic and mostly used to do geometic art as in my avatar.
