I'm planning what expansions to add to my A1200 when I get a chance, and one idea I have is to add an SD Card slot, using an SD-to-IDE adapter. This plan is purely to use it to transfer files, rather than as a bootable drive.
If I add an SD card reader, I want to use one with a front-facing slot so I can mount it in a drive bay in a a tower and make a face plate for it. There are a few SD adapters available, like the one in the link below, with this configuration but is there anything I need to look for which will prevent them being compatible with an A1200 and 4-way IDE interface?

Thanks.
(updated the title to make it clear it's a question)
Have a look at aliexpress, dealextreme or any other chineese sites...
i have quite a few adapters from them. both CF and SD
i did however have problems.
- My buddha only accept trueIDE. for unknown reasons. i use the trueIDE and are quite happy with it.
- My A1200 are comfortable with most adapters. but are WERY picky about the card used. and like stated in another thread, go with sandisk. real sandisks.
it was a PITA to get the a1200 to identify and format SD/CF cards. but when formatted it did not matter much wich adapter i used.....
It is sort of a trial by error to get SD/CF to work with amiga 1200, but it usually works quite well when you get past the initial identifying and formatting....
PS: most if not all of adapters sold (cheap) on ebay are chineese copys of other adapters. bot most of them works. and no use in buying them from ebay when they are available at the source.
