ZIF sockets

I wonder if this and this would work as replacements for the amigas standard ic sockets....?

They're probably good if you're sticking to stock 68000/68010 processors. With newer accelerator boards you'll likely have a hard time getting at the lever to lock down or unlock the processor socket as there will be a PCB that will likely get in the way.
Does not that depend on what way you orient the socket?
